Chekbox began when Jen, an accountant, and Katie, a lawyer, compared notes on a shared frustration: managing sensitive client data was getting harder every year, and the tools built for their industries weren't keeping up. Instead of waiting for someone else to solve it, they built Chekbox themselves.
